Budonny

The Bodonny is noted for it's calm temperament and it regular, level paces. This Russian breed is the result of complex breeding programs utilizing the Thoughbred after the Russian Revolution in the early 1900's. The Budonny is distinctively Thoughbred in appearance and is generally a good riding horse with great stamina and endurance, making this breed ideal for dressage, steeplechases and cross-country competitions.
