Karabair

One of the oldest and most versatile of the Asian breeds, the Karabair is a small, quick moving riding horse. The breed is coarser and less graceful than the Arabian, but has exceptionally strong legs and seldom suffer from lameness. The Karabair exhibits great endurance and courage, which is a necessity when used in the rough game of Kokpar. This dangerous game is almost exclusive to the breed.
